This year’s VAST Annual Meeting was held at Mt. Snow in Windham County on August 28th  and was attended by 221 delegates. Windhamd County had 26 delegates – 4 from our club alone. Various reports were read and accepted and awards given out, as well as two $1500 scholarships awarded. Lots of discussion about a new marketing/PR program which VAST is purchasing to better improve the VAST image and help people understand what we are all about. Discussion also on changing the VAST logo, the VT Snow Trails Conservancy and Trust and discussion about the budget. All present officers were re-elected and the budget for 2011 was accepted. The Board of Directors was having a meeting directly after the Annual Meeting. It was felt that there would be no increase in TMA costs this year.
